A brief background:
Mary Bonebrake married Lorenzo D. Brewer or on 27 Mar 1845
She is the sister of Christiana Bonebrake who married William Brewer and they are my great great grandparents. Lorenzo D. Brewer is the brother of Caroline Brewer Bodine.

We have been doing some family research in Fountain Co. Indiana.

We found a probate court document that reads as follows:
"Pleas begun and held before the Honorable David Rawls Judge of the Probate Court of said County on Monday the eighth day of May in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty eight at the Court House in Covington: Joseph Glascock Admin Bryant Brewer Deceased vs the Heirs of said Deceased: Application to Sell Land."

Next page the heirs are listed:
"And on the same day and year last ofared [offered?] aid the Clerk of said Court issued the following citation to the heirs of said deceased as follows, to wit: "State of Indiana , Fountain County, The State of Indiana to Lorenzo D. Brewer, Minerva Brewer, William E. Brewer,
Caroline Brewer, Bryant Brewer, Isaac Brewer and Eliza Brewer, heirs at Law of Bryant Brewer deceased."

The parents of Caroline Brewer Bodine are Bryant Brewer and Eliza Briggs. (Marriage 13 Apr 1820, Wayne County, Indiana Marriage Collection 1800-1941)

Although we have a reference to Bryant Brewer being a cousin of our William's father, we have been unable to find definitive sources.
