BODINE  Charles  (age 47)  - will dated 7 May 1864 - probate date 13 Jul 1864  Tyrone, Schuyler co. - wife  Josephine;  youngest son Charles, dau Alice; brothers George & Ralph.  Executor:  friend D J Sunderlin.  Witnessed by Edward Kernan & Geo Bodine, both of Tyrone.

1860 Tyrone, Schuyler County:  Charles Bodine 43 NY farmer, Josephine 23 NY, Ellis (m) 1 NY.  Lived as next door neighbor to his mother Elizabeth Bodine.
1870 Tyrone, Schuyler County:  Abel K. Hallock 44 NY farmer, Josephine 35 NY, John 3 NY, Myra 1 NY, Charles Bodine 9 NY.  Next door neighbor to George Bodine.
1880 Tyrone, Schuyler County:  Josephine Hallock 42 NY widow, Helen 8 NY (no relationship stated)
From Ronny Bodine:
The 1875 census of Tyrone, Schuyler County recorded Alice Bodine, age 16, living with her mother Josephine Hallack and her brother Charles Bodine, 14, as well as half-siblings.  E. P. Bodine in his History of the Branch of the Bodine Family Founded by Cornelius Bodine, 1897, p. 17, names the following as children of Charles Bodine:  Alice Smith and Charles Doty Bodine.

WAYNE--Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Alice Bodine Smith, aged 73, sister of Mrs. Myra Murray at her home in Buffalo, Friday, following a long illness. She leaves two children, Dr. Leonard and and Dr. Leon Smith both of Buffalo; and one sister Mrs. Myra Murray of Wayne.  The funeral was held at the Wayne Baptist Church today. Burial was in Tyrone Cemetery.
