Emily Bodine was aged 9 in 1860, 20 in 1870 and as Emma, in 1880, aged 28 and single, was living with her parents in Fond Du Lac working as a dressmaker. It is possible Emily/Emma Bodine is identical with Emma Broughton, a widow, born in July 1851 in New Jersey and living 1900 in Fond du Lac. She reported having borne 5 children of whom 2 were then living. She died 15 Aug 1900 in Fond du Lac.
