Notes for: Mary J. Bodine

From Ronny Bodine:

Mary Bodine never married and lived with her mother and siblings until her mother's death in 1884. Mary Bodine was noted in the 1880 census as a rheumatic. In June 1900, aged 69, she lived in Manhattan with her brother, John, a boarder and a servant. In April 1910, she and her brother lived together in Queens. She gave her age as 75. She was buried 15 March 1911 in the family plot in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.

Mary J. Bodine, single, of Mott Avenue, Far Rockaway, Queens, died 14 Dec 1910 in Queens, aged 78 years. Born in New York, daughter of Theron Bodine & Margaret Cardwell; buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
